David Webster
Pastor David came to Round Pond Church in March of 2026, and officially filled the pulpit on July 26th, 2026. David and his wife, Ann, were wed in 1989; they have 5 children jointly, 8 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren! Speaking about his wife, David said, “Ann is my rock and support. She has helped me, supported me, and stood beside me to become the Christian leader that I am.”
David made the choice of going into the workforce instead of college and held many positions from carpentry, management, working with High School drop-outs to prepare them for their future through the CETA program, to owning different businesses until COVID led him to retire in 2020.
In addition to his career, David has also taken on several other responsibilities over the years: he has been and still is an active member of the Franklin Simpson School Board for the last 20 years and spent 18 years as chairman, is Past President of the Kentucky School Board Association, was a Sunday School Superintendent for 20 years, was President/Chairman of the Portland Association of Sunday Schools for 21 years, was a Lay Minister for 16 years, and taught Sunday School for 21 years.
